Alex Floyd

Director, Operations

Alex brings an extensive background encapsulating commercial real estate sales, development, financing and real estate management in mixed-use, multifamily, retail, industrial, and office projects in Boston, Massachusetts, Bloomington, Indiana and Kansas City, Missouri. Most recently Alex was part of a Real Estate Management team for Digital Realty, a REIT based in San Francisco where he assisted in managing the day-to-day operations for six Tier IV data centers totaling just under 1M SF overseeing a $54M operating budget. Major clients included Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, BlackRock, Pfizer, Staples, Abram’s Capital, TripAdvisor, Boston Medical Center, Genzyme and Boston Children’s Hospital to name a few. Alex got started in the real estate industry as a sophomore in college where he capitalized on bungalow flips in rural college markets. After receiving his Bachelor of Science in Public Financial Management from Indiana University, where he made the Dean’s List for outstanding academic performance, Alex embarked on a non profit start-up mission in Boston, Massachusetts and spent two years creating financial models and managing development projects for a Boston based development corporation.


In his spare time, Alex can be found on the golf course, playing guitar or spending time with his family and dog Walker!  

Susan Scott

Director, Commercial Real Estate

Susan began her commercial real estate sales career in Kansas City back in 2002. Prior to joining RE/MAX Commercial, Susan served as Vice President with Greg Patterson & Associates for nine years with a focus on the urban core of Kansas City where Susan was instrumental in building the Greg Patterson & Associates' brand while having a hand in the evolution of the neighborhood. Susan began her commercial real estate career with Prudential CRES Commercial Real Estate as an industrial & commercial real estate specialist in Eastern Jackson and North Cass Counties. A native of Lincoln, Nebraska, Susan moved to the Kansas City metropolitan area in 1992. Susan has held positions in commercial real estate and residential/ commercial construction for the past twenty three years with most of those being in sales. Susan's community involvement includes:

Marketing Internship

As a marketing intern, you will have the opportunity to collaborate in the development and execution of a marketing strategy focusing on SEO and SMO with the goal of enhancing overall brand awareness for KAMO Realty Advisors; RE/MAX State Line’s Commercial Group.

Interns will have the opportunity to earn their real estate licenses, collaborate with commercial experts and build a foundation designed to act as springboard into the alluring world of commercial real estate.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate (some college preferred)
  • Interest in pursuing a career in commercial real estate
  • Experience with marketing a plus
